The first week we stayed at the Albright Institute, visited all the sited is Jerusalem, The city of David, Mount of Olives, Hezekiah’s Tunnel, never to forget my visit to the Western Wall, the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, Yad Vashem and the Rockefeller Museum.
At every location, we were told a story, by the stones, architecture and artifacts left behind throughout the centuries. The stories told by Yad Vashem was very impacting, I had some previsions knowledge of the “Holocaust” but the design of the museum, the use of art, artifact, video testimonies and footage was effective in drawing one into a deeper, emotional experience.
