Last Night in Israel

It is hard to believe our time in Israel is coming to an end. We have met many wonderful people and experienced many wonderful things. I greatly appreciate the work archaeologists do as it is back breaking and requires a lot of patience. It has been fantastic to experience the depth and variety of culture here, and to be a small part of it. From Ramadan celebrations to digging in early Bronze Age ruins this has been quite an experience. The Dead Sea was also amazing and something everyone should experience if you get the opportunity. I also really appreciate our bus driver Mahfouz and how he has kept us safe on the road and been patient with out craziness!

Our group has also started to gel, and is like a little family now, with a big brother and little brother! We hate to leave our "Dad" Jimmy, but we have had a great time with him. Now on to Jordan and more great adventures!
